Don't Forgot, Last 4 Arrested Development Episodes On Tonight
When I say "don't forget", I ain't talking to you the masses - or you the Arrested fans out there - I am talking to YOU FOX Broadcasting Company. I don't want YOU to forget that you are airing the last four episodes of the season tonight, and wind up playing something else in their place. I know that you don't care about the show, but others do.
Why would I think you forgot? Maybe it's the lack of advertising, or that the Official Arrested Development site that you operate still says "Returns December 5th" demonstrates to me that you really don't care too much.
I don't know what's more upsetting to me: that the 3rd season was cut down to just 13 episodes; or that show hasn't received full support from you over it's life span; or that us - the fans - have been jerked around so hard this season with the programming of the show being moved around and put on hold so many times, with very little to mention by way of advertising (I am serious, if I wasn't on the Internet looking for info, I would have no idea when the last episodes were airing); or that the show might be moved to Showtime which means that I will have to pay additional monthly fees to watch it (and no I won't BitTorrent it, I don't need any more DMCA problems); or that the show hasn't been officially canned and these last 4 episodes tonight are being called the Season finale and not the Series finale. Come on FOX, gimme some closure.
On a side note about the scheduling bothering me... if you are an Arrested fan and don't have a DVR that automatically records shows you have it set to do so on, the likelihood that you have missed episodes is crazy high. Furthermore, if you don't have your DVR set to keep all episodes (DVRs offer space saving features that will only keep the latest N episodes), then tonight when 4 episodes air in a single night, some people might find that only the last episode or two were actually saved for viewing. Sucks to be an Arrested Development fan.
