Nacho Libre Soundtrack Missing

This past weekend we traveled some 800 miles (round trip) to visit with friends and see Nacho Libre together. The trip was awesome and we loved the movie. I wanted to re-live the movie and I figured what better way than by getting the soundtrack to the movie. But nope, so far Paramount Pictures has not decided to release the soundtrack.

Some searching shows that people are making an effort to push for the release of an official soundtrack, and in the mean time cataloging their own "Un-Official Nacho Libre Soundtrack" list.

Here is the list so far from what I gather:
"Religious Man" by Mr. Loco (with additional music added by Danny Elfman)
"Bubblegum" by Mr. Loco
"Mr. Loco" by Mr. Loco
"Papas" by Mr. Loco
"Saint Behind the Glass" by Los Lobos
"Mucha Muchacha" by Esquivel
"Bat Macumba" by Gil Gilberto (or maybe Os Mutantes)
"Irene" by Caetano Veloso
"E-Pro" by Beck
"Forbidden Nector" by Jack Black

I will update this more as I find stuff. In the mean time, check out the Nacho Libre soundboard, which includes one of my favorites of the movie when Nacho signs his letter "ooxxooXoXXx".

the version of "bat macumba" used in nacho libre was performed by asdru sierra, not os mutantes! (atleast that's who is credited)

All throughout the movie, I was thinking "wow the music really makes this." I was tapping my toes almost the whole time. I'm surprised they don't have a soundtrack realeased. Thanks Erik for doing this service. Miss you, we'll be coming by your way mid-August. Hope to be able to see you then. OooOx
