Tech Tip: Rolling out new passwords

If you ever decide that it's good to roll out new passwords across the board, and you are creating a new account for remote-access to your web server, or some other machine that you can't (easily) gain physical access to... It's smart to not delete a known working account without first testing the new account. I didn't follow this rule and now I am locked out of administrating my web server. Doh!

Just before I e-mailed a buddy to go to the machine and log in and correct my problem, I thought "hey give it one more try, it can't hurt". So I tried to login again with the new account, and "wha-la!" it worked.
